Alfreton Motor Transport Co. Ltd. of Angel Yard, Alfreton was acquired on the 1st April 1936 and continued as a separate company within the Midland General Omnibus Company organisation. Ten of the eleven vehicles entered the Midland General fleet; a Commer bus was not retained.
