Tansey & Severn Ltd. of Underwood was acquired by the Midland General Omnibus Company on 6th April 1929 and continued as a separate associate company within the Midland General organisation until it was wound up 17.12.1946.
Tansey & Severn VO 1827 Leyland Lion LT1 / Leyland B35F pictured at the Wollaton Street, Nottingham Terminus in August 1929. Purchased new in April 1929, the original red livery with a cream roof survived until at least July 1931 when it received Midland General fleet number 115.
