Williamson's Garage Ltd. of Heanor

Williamson’s Garage Ltd. of Derby Road, Heanor was finally purchased by the Midland General Omnibus Company on the 3rd April 1928. Williamson’s became an associated company. Included in the sale was a fleet of forty one buses, larger than the Midland General fleet, including four very new
Bristol B / Roe B32F buses and thirty five assorted REO Speedwagons, Sprinters and Pullmans dating from 1923 onwards.

The fleet continued in the associate company's ownership until January 1943, although vehicles were painted in Midland General livery from July 1931 when Midland General took over the stage-carriage licences.
